I was born in a small town in Canada and raised in a Swiss & German household. As the granddaughter of a Swiss farmer, my upbringing reflected a lifestyle in which a special harmony existed between the land we farmed, the animals we kept, and the food that landed on the dinner table.

In 2011, I moved to Zürich after completing culinary school in Ottawa. For nearly two decades I immersed myself in the field of gastronomy, surrounded by food and exposed to the interactions people around me had with food. Through personal experiences and witnessing the struggles and successes of those around me, I continued learning about the profound impact our relationship with food has on our minds, bodies, and overall well-being.
